For this editorial spread created for University Girl, I designed a bold and expressive layout that reflects the tone and attitude of the article. The goal was to create something visually striking while still maintaining clarity and readability across a dense text layout.
I used large-scale typography, layered imagery, and a soft but contrasting color palette to create visual interest and guide the reader through the spread. The placement of imagery and text was carefully considered to break up the content and create a more dynamic reading experience.
Throughout the process, I went through multiple rounds of critique, which played a key role in refining the composition and strengthening the overall design. The project also required a quick turnaround, pushing me to work efficiently while still being thoughtful in my design decisions.
